Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and FabMags LLC ("we", "us"), a limited liability company based in Texas, United States, that makes and runs Issuustack. They apply when you install the Issuustack Chrome extension, create an account, use this website, or buy a plan.

These are the product terms for Issuustack. They add to the FabMags LLC Terms of Service, which cover every product FabMags LLC sells. Where the two disagree about Issuustack, these product terms apply.

By doing any of those things you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use Issuustack for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. What Issuustack does

Issuustack is a Chrome extension that reads the library of your own Issuu account, through the Issuu session in your own browser, and downloads the original files of your publications to a folder on your computer. It checks each file and keeps a record of your library with your Issuustack account.

• It does not change, move or delete anything on Issuu.
• It does not store your PDF files. They are saved only on your computer.
• It does not provide cloud storage.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Give a real email address you can receive mail at, and keep your password to yourself.
• You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• One account is for one person or one business. Do not share or resell accounts.

4. Acceptable use

You may only use Issuustack with Issuu accounts you own or are authorised to manage, and only to download publications you have the right to download. You must not use Issuustack to:

• Access or download anyone else's publications.
• Get around any restriction or protection on Issuu or in Issuustack, including plan limits.
• Overload Issuu or our servers, or interfere with either.
• Copy, resell, or reverse engineer Issuustack.

You are responsible for following Issuu's own terms when you use your Issuu account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

5. Plans

All prices are in US dollars.

Free

See your whole Issuu library, and back up 2 magazines in total for the life of your account, so you can check the files before you pay. A download only counts once it has completed and been checked; a failed attempt does not count.

DIY, $49 one payment

• You can download each magazine in your library once. A download only counts once it has completed and been checked.
• The list of magazines your purchase covers is fixed when your first DIY backup starts. Publications added to your Issuu account after that are not included.
• There is no expiry. Your purchase lasts for as long as we offer Issuustack.

PRO, $15 per month, 3-month minimum term

• Unlimited backups while your subscription is active, including publications you add later.
• Billed monthly in advance, and renews automatically every month until it ends.
• Has a minimum term of 3 months, explained in section 6.

6. The PRO minimum term and cancelling

• You can cancel at any time, from Account in the extension, which opens Stripe's billing page.
• If you cancel during your first 3 months, your subscription stays active, and is billed each month, until the end of your third month. It then ends automatically, with no further charges. You keep full PRO access until it ends.
• If you cancel after your first 3 months, PRO stays active until the end of the month you have already paid for, and is not renewed.
• If a payment fails during the minimum term, we may retry it and pause downloads until it is paid. The remaining payments for the minimum term are still owed.
• Closing your Issuustack account does not cancel a subscription or end a minimum term. Cancel the subscription as well.

7. Refunds

• DIY: we refund your payment in full if you ask within 14 days of paying and nothing has been downloaded on your DIY plan. Once any magazine has been downloaded on DIY, the payment is not refundable.
• PRO: monthly payments that have already been made are not refundable, including payments made during the minimum term and months you did not use in full.
• Mistakes: if we charge you twice or charge you in error, we refund the extra charge in full.

The free trial exists so you can see how Issuustack works with your own library before paying. Where you have a legal right to cancel an online purchase of a digital service, you agree that the service starts as soon as your payment is confirmed, and that the right ends once a download has started, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

8. Billing questions and chargebacks

If you think a charge is wrong, email support@issuustack.com first. We reply within 5 business days, and refund anything charged in error.

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer that was made in line with these terms, we will give our payment processor the records of your purchase. These include your acceptance of these terms at checkout, the minimum term and prices shown to you, your receipts, and your account's sign-in and download history. We may pause your account while a dispute is open. A chargeback does not cancel amounts you owe under these terms.

9. Payments and price changes

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Your card statement shows FABMAGSLLC.COM ISSUU for PRO, or FABMAGSLLC* ISSUUSTACK for DIY. Billing help explains every charge. Your bank may add its own fees for paying in US dollars.

We may change our prices. A change to the PRO price applies from your next renewal after we have emailed you at least 30 days' notice, and never changes a minimum term you have already agreed to. A change to the DIY price never affects a purchase you have already made.

10. When Issuu changes

Issuustack works with Issuu's website, which Issuu can change at any time without telling us. If a change stops Issuustack working, we will work to restore it, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or uninterrupted.

If Issuustack permanently stops working with Issuu and we cannot fix it, we will end all PRO subscriptions with no further charges, including any minimum term still to run.

11. Your files

Backed up files are saved on your computer, and keeping them safe is up to you. Issuustack checks each file as described on this site, but we cannot guarantee that the files Issuu provides are complete or correct.

12. Our product

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Issuustack under these terms. We own Issuustack, its code, its design and its name. Your publications remain yours; we claim no rights in them.

13. Liability

Issuustack is provided "as is", to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or lost business. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Suspending or closing accounts

You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing support@issuustack.com. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if a payment is not made, if we suspect fraud, or while a payment dispute is open.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and if a change materially affects paying customers we will email you at least 30 days before it applies. Changes never alter a minimum term or a purchase you have already agreed to.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the state and federal courts located in Texas have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away protections you have under the laws of the country you live in.
